Jive
Went to a 1940s GingerJive night, and it was gooood. It did involve dressing up and there were loads of army/RAF uniformed people about and several in zoot suits, and as for the ladies well it's obviously an excuse to wear ball dresses for some - I wore a dress from Marks&Spencers and it went ok, did the hair up and it was fine. First one I've been to, I'm obviously obsessive about this dance stuff as now Lindy Hop and Ceroc are on my to do list, oooo and go to some more jive nights.

Fun! I was taking swing in the spring at a local club...I stink, but it's so much fun! :) I can't wait for the fall so I can go back again. :) Wish you lived closer!
